The ideal age for LASIK typically falls between 25 and 40 years old, when your vision prescription has stabilized and before age-related vision changes begin. However, each patient is unique, and at our downtown Chicago location, we evaluate candidates individually regardless of age. Your vision must be stable for at least two years, which usually occurs in your mid-twenties.
