If you're ready to treat your farsightedness and be less reliant on contacts or glasses, schedule your no-cost consultation with Dr.Colman Kraff today!
312-444-1111Schedule ConsultationOn the day of the procedure, you should plan on being in our office for around 2 hours. This will include time for additional testing and completing the check-in process. You will also meet with Dr. Kraff, who will look over all your measurements, answer any questions you may have, and confirm that surgery is a safe option for you.
The procedure itself is around 30 minutes for both eyes. Immediately following the treatment, a patient will be encouraged to try and sleep as much as possible. With LASIK, you will need to be seen the day after surgery for a quick visit. Following that appointment, patients can resume most of their normal day-to-day activities with few restrictions.
If Dr. Kraff determines that PRK is a safer procedure, a patient should plan on needing to be seen for 1 to 2 visits within a 3 to 4 day period immediately following surgery.
