Floaters and Spots

Floaters describe dark or clear spots in your vision. They stem from clumps in the jelly fluid inside the eye, called the vitreous. Rare, stable floaters are usually not of concern. Any sudden appearance or increase in floaters, along with the appearance of a veil, or veiled vison should be reported to your eye care professional immediately.
