Anti-Reflective (A/R) Coating

An anti-reflective (A/R) coating is a treatment to eyeglass lenses that’s used to reduce light reflections off the lens surface. Sometimes called anti-glare lenses, they allow onlookers to see more clearly through to the wearer’s eyes by reducing unwanted reflections. The wearer also sees more clearly through lenses with an A/R coating.
