Change the Way You See the World

Why have LASIK?

LASIK is an FDA-approved procedure intended to reduce your dependency on eyeglasses or contact lenses. LASIK is the most commonly performed refractive procedure at Kraff Eye because of the positive results and quick recovery times. If you are tired of constantly searching for your glasses, or putting in your contacts, the time is now to change the way you see the world.

Why Choose Kraff Eye?

Best LASIK Surgeon, Dr. Kraff

At the Kraff Eye Institute, we understand that each individual case is unique, and our personalized approach ensures that every LASIK patient's comfort and progress is regulated with care. When it comes to something as important as your eyes, the Kraff Eye Institute knows that experience and safety are what every patient looks for. The doctors at Kraff Eye Institute have performed tens of thousands of Laser Vision Correction procedures with the highest levels of precision, safety, and patient satisfaction.

Is LASIK Affordable?

Many compare the cost of LASIK with the cost of maintaining glasses or contacts over a ten-year period, and the savings speak for themselves. LASIK saves you more money in the long term, yet the convenience you can receive now is priceless.

While LASIK is not covered by insurance, we do in some cases accept flexible spending dollars to pay for the cost of LASIK. Find out if your employer has flexible spending available and start your mission to change the way you see the world.

Additionally, Kraff Eye Institute has researched the best credit options and is proud to announce a partnership with CareCredit, America's top patient payment program. CareCredit allows you to start your vision care procedures at once - then pay for it at your convenience with low monthly payments that are easy to fit in your monthly budget.

Out of great caution and concern over the coronavirus, we have decided to close Kraff Eye Institute end of business March 17th. We will evaluate weekly to determine if we should continue with our closure. As of March 30th, we anticipate being closed until April 10th. We will adjust this message accordingly should that date change. We care too much about the health of our patients and staff to increase any of the “community spread” of COVID-19. The decision was made after many discussions with peers, local and national medical communities, as well as heeding the advice of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) about the severity of the issue.

Our phones will be operational for communication with you our patients. Please continue to call Kraff Eye Institute 312-444-1111. You can contact the office via the patient portal or standard email at info@kraffeye.com. Our office hours will be Monday through Friday 9:00am-4:00pm.

We are available to reschedule current appointments and setting up future visits.
The staff will triage questions and prescription refill requests. Please contact the office directly for this.
Contact lens orders will be placed if requested for direct ship to your home. If you are due for your exam, we can extend your prescription until COVID-19 passes. If you need to pick up contacts from our office, please call to arrange at 312-444-1111.

Please also note if we have not yet connected with you to reschedule your appointment for the next two weeks our staff will do so in the next few days. We apologize for any delay as there are many patients to contact currently.
